Emotional Wellness
Coupled with our first breath of life, we engage in the emotional healing technique of crying. As the journey of life continues, we continue to emotionally heal ourselves through: tears and laughter, anger and joy, fear confrontation and creative expression, etc. There are two basic emotions: love and fear, which can be expressed in a multitude of different ways. We are emotional creatures, yet so many of us learn as we grow into “healthy adults” to bottle up our emotions so society will think we are “normal”. Unfortunately, this “normalcy” leaves us disconnected to our natural emotions and imbalanced. In order to again become the vibrant, harmonized, balanced, and healthy beings that we are, we have to confront these emotions and often dig deep into our Inner Self to reveal the source of these disturbances. The emotional component is often intense and may uncover many layers to fully allow healing of the emotional self.
“The voice is the key to find locked emotion in the body – to release, we must use the same note that locked it, the point of emotional trauma.” - Fabion Maman
“Take heart, it is I; have no fear.” - Matthew 14:27
